In-Studio Mother’s Day Session

Nicole and her daughter have been in our studio previously for a non-traditional newborn session, you can read about her first session here. This beautiful duo is a treat to photograph, and we are so happy to provide Nicole with the Mother’s Day session she envisioned. As you can see, Nicole and her daughter wore classic pink outfits for this milestone session. Certainly, we made a beautiful assortment of flowers for one set and our bed set in our white room for lifestyle portraits.

First, we started with the outdoor portraits. The space is right behind our studio and is a short walk to and from. We enjoy including this in our sessions when weather permits, especially on agreeable days such as this one. Clearly, most of the style of photos you will see in this album are lifestyle. What is the best way to show a relationship dynamic and capture moments organically. Shortly after, we went into the studio to take portraits with our flower assortments. Surely, we lightly posed Nicole and her daughter for the cutest mommy-and-me photos. We love the casual outfit that Nicole wore and the cute pink overalls that her daughter wore.

Finally, we ended our session in our bed set in our white room. We love to use a set when kids get older because they like to jump and play with their parents. This was no different for Nicole’s session because her daughter was so happy and comfortable being next to her mommy. Truly, we love capturing special moments between parents and their children to keep as memories for a lifetime.
