Light Pink Newborn Session
We welcomed Antwanette and her family into the studio in the Fall of 2023 for their daughter’s newborn session. For this special day, Antwanette wanted lots of pink for her daughters portraits and to capture her daughter’s ever-changing features. Although this is a newborn session we highly encourage the parents to be involved in the photo shoot. We strive to make the environment in the studio very comfortable to capture genuine and authentic smiles.
The Session
First, we began with solo portraits of their baby girl. As you can see, she was sound asleep so a Jackie expertly changed her into her cute newborn outfit with no problems. We chose a classic cream for the backdrop and added these cute and colorful felt hearts around her head for a subtle contrast. Then, Jackie carefully placed her on her tummy and tucked her little arms and legs in for a cozy, sleepy photo.
We transitioned to another set and their baby girl was still sound asleep. Jackie was able to place her in this tiny crib for the cutest sleepytime photos with no fuss. At the time of this photo shoot, their baby was almost four weeks old, and a dream for her session. Of course, we were sure to take full family portraits. Mom wore our long white gown which is available to our clients for all sessions. Certainly, we took mommy-and-me and daddy-and-me photos of them with their baby. We love to incorporate our light and bright backdrop into our sessions which make for gorgeous and timeless portraits for a client. This light pink newborn session was such a dream and a pleasure to be a part of and we can’t wait to see this beautiful family again.
