Rainbow Pastel First Birthday Session

Megan and her family came into our studio for their daughters first birthday photo shoot in the spring of 2023. As you can see, she wanted a pastel rainbow-themed cake smash as well as classic family portraits for her big day. We love to incorporate new first birthday party ideas into each session and this was no different. We are a custom studio and whatever ideas Megan had in mind we did our best to deliver.

First, we went outside our studio to capture family portraits outdoors since it was such a beautiful day. We brought out a simple bench for their daughters sibling portraits. Then, we went back inside to take classic cake smash photos. Certainly, we created this beautiful rainbow pastel balloon garland as a backdrop and ordered a pastel pink cake for her special day.

Megan did such a wonderful job with the outfits for this photo shoot, we love her pink dress! Surely, we had to get a portrait of Megan and her girl in their cute outfits. Finally, we ended this session with our tubby time set. We fill our bathtub photography prop with warm water and always have an assistant nearby in case toddlers start climbing out. This set is always a toddler favorite and we love incorporating it into our first birthday sessions. This rainbow pastel first birthday session was so adorable and we can’t wait to see this beautiful family again soon. Are you ready to book your next session?
