In-Studio Princess Newborn Session
We welcomed Ariana and her husband into our studio in the summer of 2023 your daughters newborn session. This beautiful family is originally from Long Island but they moved down to South Jersey recently. We are so happy to have been chosen to document such an important milestone in their lives. As you can see, Ariana chose black-and-white outfits for family portraits and chose classic pink, cream, and white for baby portraits.
The Session
We started with baby portraits as Ariana got her hair and make-up done just a few feet away. Clearly, their baby was fast asleep and very comfortable as she was expertly posed by Jackie. Truly, we love to incorporate special items from the family to further personalize this experience, this could be anything from grandma’s gifted knitted blanket or personalized jammies. In fact, the tiara used in the session is the tiara Ariana used for her wedding ceremony. Ariana’s husband mentioned that he is very patriotic and loves his country so we made sure to use our flag scarf as well.
Eventually, we transitioned baby to our white wooden set and carefully placed her in one of our favorite photography props. She fit perfectly in our heart-shaped prop and was very comfortable resting on the textured blanket. Then, we moved to our light and bright set and took family portraits where their baby was in and out of sleep. We love this because we were able to capture her beautiful eyes. Of course, Jackie guided Ariana her husband in our classic face-to-face pose, a favorite for a full family portrait. We can’t wait to see Ariana and her beautiful family in our studio again! Indeed, this in-studio princess newborn session was special.
