Indian Maternity and Newborn Session

Jyoti and her husband came into our studio in the Spring of 2023 for her maternity session. As you can see, she brought in a custom saree to wear for her maternity session. Any items that will further personalize a session is always encouraged. She looked beautiful during both sessions and her husband was very smitten by her. During the newborn session, she wanted to include lots of blues and cream colors. This beautiful couple was such a dream to photograph!

First, we began her session with Jyoti wearing our Princess Pearl maternity gown. We absolutely love this dress, and she looked stunning against our light and bright backdrop. Of course, we brought in her husband to take classic posed couple portraits. You do not need to worry about knowing how to pose prior to a photo shoot, Jackie is amazing at coached poses! Then, we moved to our black backdrop where Jyoti put on our glamorous dress. In addition, she also wanted to incorporate our large Angel wings which we are very happy to do. Certainly, we were sure to capture her and her husband in their traditional Indian garments.

Then, once their son was born, they returned for his newborn session. This summer session was a very special one because grandma and a grandpa were also present. While Jyoti was getting her hair and makeup done, we posed their son, Vayu, in our classic baby poses while he was asleep. Clearly, she wanted to incorporate blues and cream colors, but we also added an array of colors such as red and purple swaddles. Naturally, he woke up a few times and we were lucky to capture his big brown eyes. Surely, we captured Vayu and his parents for classic family portraits as well as with his grandparents, and full family photos.
