Green In-studio Newborn Session

We welcomed Rachel and her family into our studio located in Southampton, New Jersey for their second son’s newborn session. Their first son was born a little less than two years ago and they welcomed his little brother recently. Certainly, we are thrilled we get to capture this amazing family again. For this session, Rachel decided on green as the main theme, with tan and cream colors to complement.

I have to say, the dad should pursue a career in comedy because he was constantly making us laugh throughout the session. Certainly, this family was so laid-back and fun to work with. Their older son Cole was having an amazing time, we were able to capture such cute smiles! Of course, we took classic sleepy baby poses with our dream-like blanket and utilized the bucket prop to get these adorable images.

Actually, the photo above is a great example of how we use composites for all of our young siblings. Composite images are when we combine multiple photos to create one. Surely, we made sure to go back to Cole’s newborn session to incorporate the styles and colors from his shoot so that Rachel could hang them up nicely next to each other. We love full-circle moments and do our best to take portraits that will complement the color palette of each client’s home. What color would you like for your next session?
