Pastel Newborn Session
We welcomed Stephanie and her beautiful family in late 2023 for their daugher’s newborn session! Actually, this is the second time we have done a newborn session for her. In late 2021, Stephanie and her husband came into the studio for their first daughter’s, Aurora, baby portraits! You can see Aurora’s newborn session here. We are always so happy to have our clients return to capture such special time in thier lives.
The Newborn Session
First, we started with the baby’s individuals portraits. Clearly, baby girl was very much awake so we were able to capture her big brown eyes. Jackie expertly wrapped her in a cream-colored swaddle. It is always so amazing to see Jackie work her magic and carefully wrap babies. Of course, we used a cute flowery headband from our baby boutique to add some texture against the cream backdrop.
Then, we transitioned to our light and bright set where we took a variety of portraits. Certainly, we had to take sibling portriats of Aurora and her baby sister together. The bean-bag photo is just the cutest! Surely, safety is our top priority and we always have an assistant nearby in case of any sudden movements. Stephanie chose beautiful pastel colored dresses for her daughter’s special day. Although, this is a newborn session we love to incorporate full family portriats. The close-up photo of Stephanie and her husband looking down at their baby girl is one of our favorite poses. Truly, having this beautiful family return to the studio was such a treat and we cannot wait to see them again! Are you interested in a pastel newborn session? We would love to work with you!
