Light and Bright Newborn Session

We welcomed Stephanie and her family into our Southampton, New Jersey studio back in September 2021 for a light and bright newborn session for her new baby girl Aurora! She was referred to us by another one of our amazing clients, and that means so much to me. Miss Aurora did amazing. She was sleepy and let us get her into all of those sweet newborn positions with ease. Stephanie brought this pompas grass in from her baby shower. I loved the look of this. The grass gave this session a gorgeous boho feel which is very popular right now. Look at this sweet little girl nice and settled in this bucket…I’m telling you she was an absolute dream!

Stephanie wanted to keep this session light and airy. Her vibes in her home is lighter colors with a country feel, so we wanted to make sure this session matched that so her photos that she displays flow well with her decor. This cream backdrop is perfect for that! Look at sweet baby Aurora all snuggled in mama’s arms. I love this family photo of them!

Stephanie brought these lace outfits for Aurora, and I love them so much! This peach was my favorite, and it just so happened that we had a peach floral headband that mattched perfectly ;). Look how sleepy this sweet girl was hahaha! She was out. Her little details (toes, fingers, nose, lips, hair) in this photo are so sweet!

We always do a color and black and white option for our backlit shots. This one I just love so so much! Backlit will be my fav for forever hahaha! Can you get any sweeter than this?? Kisses and the most precious baby girl’s sleepy profile!

I saved one of my favorites for last! This little bed scene is so cute! The pampas grass has returned, and we switched her outfit to this adorable lacy baby pink one. Getting her on her belly for this was easy peasy, and I’m so happy we were able to because look at the ruffles and that bow! I’m seriously in love with the different textures in this photo!
