Red Maternity and Newborn Session

We joined Chantelle and her husband at Palmyra Nature Cove in Palmyra, New Jersey for her maternity session in the Fall of 2023. As you can see if you wanted outdoor fall photos with beautiful foliage. In addition, we went to the beach to capture some lifestyle photography of them and her baby bump. For their son’s newborn session, Chantelle wanted to use the same red color palette and add subtle Christmas decor to his portraits.

The Maternity Session

First, we began on a trail at the park in Palmyra. Chantel had a few gown changes for her pictures. We love the long-sleeve red body-con dress she chose for her special day. The black maternity gown looked beautiful on her. Of course, we had Chantelle and her husband do the classic prom day pose for their couple’s maternity photos. Watching them interact with each other during the session was such a treat. They have an immense love for each other, and it is evident in the photos we captured on that day.

The Newborn Session

A few months later, this beautiful couple arrived at the studio with their son for his newborn portraits. Of course, when they arrived in the studio we started off with the solo portraits of their baby boy. When they arrived he was awake and just about to be put down for a nap which is perfect because he was comfortable in the swaddle. We were able to capture him and classic sleepy poses and were lucky enough to get one of him smiling. Then, we transitioned to our white room where we took full family photos of them lightly posed and against our light and bright set.
