Sunflower Maternity and Newborn Session

We have had the pleasure of photographing Heather and her family for her maternity and newborn photography sessions. They opted for our Baby Plan which includes maternity, newborn, and first birthday for a $395 session fee. Heather and her husband arrived in the studio in the Summer of 2023 for a classic maternity session. Then, a few months later they returned for a fall newborn session for their adorable daughter.

The Maternity Session

First, we started with the summer maternity session where Heather chose a simple in-studio session. Clearly, this was a perfect time to incorporate the trendy t-shirt and jeans look. This classic combination is very popular because it emphasizes the belly in such a tasteful and casual way. As you can see, Heather looked stunning in this combination, we love the crop strapless shirt and light-wash denim jeans she chose. Her husband donned a linen outfit which is perfect for the summer season. Of course, it wouldn’t be a full family photo without their fur baby, so we made sure to get a few with her included.

The Newborn Session

Then, they returned for their newborn session where Heather opted for yellows for the baby portraits. Certainly, we added sunflowers of all sizes, yellow wraps, a mustard yellow backdrop, and cute headbands. As Heather was getting pampered with hair and make-up, Jackie took classic sleepy photos and expertly wrapped and posed the baby. Heather chose a beautiful light-wash denim dress for the newborn photos and her husband chose a tan top that went perfectly with the desired color palette. Truly, this sunflower newborn and maternity session was so beautiful and we cannot wait to complete their Baby Plan in the upcoming year. Would you like to learn more about our Baby Plan?
