Warm and Earthy Newborn Session

Naima and her husband prayed for 18 years for their miracle baby! Therefore, this was such an important and special moment for them. What’s more, we are so glad to have been a part of their journey to celebrate this epic milestone in their life. On this occasion, Naima decided on a warm and earthy color palette. Incorporating gray and brown highlights to perfectly complement and display in their home.

Actually, Naima and her husband were not inclined to be in the portraits for this session, but we absolutely had to incorporate their hands because they are such a big part of the baby’s life. This family portrait is perfect for any room in their home, we added the brown blankets for texture and his gray outfit to match the gray color scheme in their home.

Naturally, we had to make sure to incorporate the angel wings, because this is their little Angel Baby. In fact, the image above is considered a composite shot because it is four images in one for baby safety. A composite the use or combination of two or more images to create a new one. This adorable baby boy was such a pleasure to photograph, he was wide awake in his cream swaddle and we were able to capture those beautiful big brown eyes.

Of course, they are scholars, so we made sure to include their family Bible to honor their faith. Clearly, faith is such a big part of their lives, they really wanted to incorporate it in their session. We are happy to be able to create with our clients. We strive to really personalize each session to get the images they imagine. All in all, this warm and earthy newborn session was so sweet to photograph!
