Light Maternity and Newborn Session

Light Maternity and Newborn Session

We have had the pleasure of photographing Talia and her family for two sessions this year. For their maternity session, we went to Smithville Mansion in Mount Holly, New Jersey for a summer photoshoot. Then, in August 2023, Talia and her family arrived at our studio in Southampton, New Jersey for a newborn session to celebrate their son. This beautiful couple chose a light blue color palette for both sessions and brought their adorable dog, Nala, for sibling portraits.

Maternity sessions are a beautiful way to capture this special time during your pregnancy journey. But, when we can, we love to incorporate the partners as well. Tricia did their newborn session at the mansion. Certainly, we love the maternity dress that Talia wore for her outdoor pictures. The light blue contrasts beautifully with the greenery on the mansion grounds.

A few months later we welcome to Leah and her family at our studio for a classic newborn session. While Talia was getting her hair and make-up done by our MUA artist, Rebecca, we took classic sleepy baby poses of their son. Clearly, he was very sleepy which allowed for the cutest newborn photos we could ask for. Of course, we had to do family portraits against our light and bright backdrop. Then, we set up our bedtime set for cute pajama family portraits. In fact, the pajamas that they are wearing were sent by the baby’s grandmother. Truly, we cannot wait to see this beautiful family in our studio again! This light maternity and newborn session was a special one.
