Farm Lifestyle Family Session

We took a drive to a farm in the Spring of 2023 for a beautiful family session. Gillian wanted to capture some photos of her father-in-law with her kids before his retirement. Surely, he loved working on this farm in Medford, New Jersey and he loved all the animals. Lifestyle photography was perfect for this session because we could capture him interacting organically with his family at the place of his vocation. Also, it is a great way to commemorate his time on the farm he loved and the time he shared with his kids and grandchildren.

First, we went to the barn where the horse stable is located. As you can see, the kids are very happy to see their grandfather and loved playing his beard. Of course, we had to capture him and the kids in the tractor! Tractors are always a kid favorite and they had such fun exploring with their grandfather. We were sure to take classic portraits there as well. Capturing moments in time is our favorite and this photo of siblings gathering flowers is so adorable.

Then, we returned to the barn and took a full family portrait of Gillian, her spouse, kids, and her father-in-law. If you look closely, you can see Sally Mae relaxing in her stable in the background. Truly, this farm lifestyle family session was such a blast to photograph. If you are interested in a fun and relaxed photo shoot with lightly posed images, then a lifestyle session is ideal!
