Brown Maternity and Newborn Session

We welcomed Lisa and her husband, Travis, into our studio recently for their newborn session. In fact, they booked us for our Baby Plan, which includes maternity, newborn, and first birthday. We cannot wait to photograph their first birthday session soon. Certainly, we love to have a full-circle moment and incorporate elements from the maternity session to their newborn session.

First, for Lisa’s maternity session, we started outside behind our studio. Lisa is dressed in our green maternity gown, which is available for all of our mommy clients. Then, we went inside the studio for our very popular backlit images after Lisa changed into another white maternity gown. Finally, we finished her maternity session with a beautiful milk bath with Lisa in our lacey white dress.

A few months later, Lisa and Travis returned to our studio for a very special newborn session. Surely, Lisa donned the same white maternity dress and incorporated our backlit images. Backlit images are a client favorite and for good reason, they give such beautiful and whispy portraits. Actually, Travis is serving in the United States Air Force so we made sure to incorporate his duty uniform into this session. Indeed, the baby’s brown knit outfit worked perfectly with the uniform, as well as for the entirety of the session. We are so happy to have been a part of Lisa’s brown maternity and newborn session.
