Cowboy First Birthday Session

Erica and her husband came into the studio for her youngest son‘s first birthday portraits in February of this year. Although the youngest brother just turned one year old, their sibling playtime was just as rambunctious as any other. Of course, we did a cake smash set, a tubby time set, as well as lifestyle family portraits.

When they arrived, Ericka realized that they had forgotten to pack a few items. She had the perfect outfit prepared for her son which included denim jeans and suspenders. Unfortunately, those were left at home. Erica and her husband were so upset, but not for long. Jackie has two boys herself and very graciously offered Erica to use her son’s jeans for their session. Surely, we will do our best to provide a great experience for our clients!

As you can see, they did not forget to bring inflatable toys for the boys to play with. We were very careful with holding their boy upright as he sat on the cow. Child safety is our priority, so our in-studio assistant is holding him up on the inflatable. Our amazing editor, Gina, photoshopped her out of all the images for a seamless sibling portrait.

Certainly, we were sure to capture full family photos as well. Erica did a great job coordinating outfits. We absolutely love the denim plaid and the matching sibling outfits. Obviously, children are constantly moving around so we were sure to take many images to get the perfect one. Lifestyle portraits were perfect for this session and truly capture the dynamic of this family. This cowboy first birthday session was so much fun, we cannot wait to see them again soon.
