Winter One-derland First Birthday Session
We had the pleasure of welcoming Sharon and her adorable family into our studio in the Spring of 2023. Milestone photography is so special to us because they provide a visual record of the growth and progress your little one has made. We love to celebrate with our clients with a fun, themed first birthday session. For example, Sharon chose a winter wonderland theme for her daughter’s cake smash portraits. In addition to the cake smash photos, we took sibling portraits of her two daughters, family pictures, and tubby time pictures!
The First Birthday Session
First, we took the family portraits in our white room. This gives the toddlers time to get used to the camera and the flash. Certainly, toddlers are extra comfortable in the comfort of their mom or dad’s arms. Sharon did great by color-coordinating her two girls’ outfits. Then, we took several sibling portraits of the two sisters in their cute red and white outfits.
Oftentimes, we wait until the end of the session to do the actual cake smash. We do this so we can keep toddlers’ outfits cake-free. Surely, we made our set to reflect Sharon’s theme with white fluff to resemble clouds and added large silver snowflakes. We ordered a mini-pink cake and assembled a large balloon garland for her set. Most importantly, Sharon chose a very cute white dress for her daughter.
Finally, we ended their session with tubby time in our white room. Of course, child safety is our top priority.
We always have our in-studio assistant nearby to prevent accidents. Indeed, we fill up the white tub with warm water to keep the kiddos comfortable and happy. We were sure to take tons of cute portraits and sibling pictures as well. This winter one-derland first birthday session was so cute and special! We cannot wait to see them again.
