4-Week-Old Newborn Session
We welcomed baby Talia and her parents into our Medford studio back in September 2021 for her 4-week-old newborn session. Bryttani (mom) inquired with us because originally she didn’t want newborn photos. Once Talia was here and she realized how quickly she was growing, Bryttani wanted to capture these itty bitty moments. We were able to squeeze her in quickly since Talia was already 4-weeks-old. Mom was so happy with the entire experience! Talia was a little doll baby! Look at that precious face!
Mom and dad were both so calm, and that always makes for a calm baby. Talia definitely felt safe and secure in mommy’s arms. I also loved mom and dad’s chemistry! This family was just amazing.
Photographing older newborns is 100% doable. However, it can be very difficult to get them to sleep because they become so curious! While getting them to sleep can be hard, the upside is photos like the one below. I literally can’t get over that adorable smile! Talia’s little personality was already coming out, and I couldn’t get enough of it!
When we did all our notes and details during the inquiry and zoom, Bryttani preferred dark and moody. So of course for our favorite backlit shots, we had to convert to black and white! Look at Talia looking up at her daddy. This is one of my favorites from the entire session. LOVE!
We had to bounce around a little since it took us a bit to get Talia asleep. But it paid off because look at her sleeping in our little bed! We went when the dark flooring to give a moodier feel for mom’s preferences. I adore the pops of greenery and flowers, and of course, the rainbow sleep cap is so precious!
This family was seriously so sweet, and I’m so happy we were able to squeeze them in so that they can have these precious memories to look back on for years to come!
