Mickey Mouse Cake Smash Session

We welcomed Navjot and her beautiful family into our studio in Southampton, New Jersey in the Spring of 2023. For this session, you will see the happiest baby ever, she smiled the whole time. Of course, we customized her set to a mickey mouse theme for her cake smash portraits.

First, we started with the family portraits that we shoot during most of our sessions. We like to do family photos first because that gives toddlers time to get comfortable with the camera and the setting in the comfort of their parent’s arms. We love the outfits chosen for the family photos. Indeed, you can’t go wrong with a classic light-colored blouse and denim look.

Then, we transitioned to our custom cake smash set where their little girl wore the cutest Mickey Mouse outfit. Indeed, we took tons of portraits of her, enjoying her cake and having a great time. She was so happy and we were able to get great photos of her enjoying her tasty cake.

Finally, we transitioned to our tubby time set. As you can see, this is perfect to do after a messy cake smash. For this session, we filled the tiny tub with lukewarm water, but sometimes we fill it with milk to accommodate any allergies a baby might have. She had such a fun time and we did too.
