Honeybee First Birthday Session

Kate and her beautiful family joined us in our studio, located in Southampton, New Jersey in the Spring of 2023. In fact, they joined us on two separate occasions, a traditional family session and a Honeybee first birthday session. For both sessions we took several family portraits with a lifestyle vibe.

The Family Session

First, we did their family session which was very cute and casual. Lifestyle photography is perfect for capturing the family dynamic. Certainly, we choose this style of photography for families who have toddlers because they are always moving. Kate went with a classic theme for outfits, light t-shits, and denim. This session was such a joy to shoot and we couldn’t wait to get them back in the studio.

The Honeybee Cake Smash

A few weeks later, they returned to our studio for their daughter’s first birthday session. Kate decided on a honeybee themed cake smash so we added a bunch of sunflowers to her set. Of course, we ordered a mini, white cake for her custom set and she loved it. As you can see, Kate chose wonderful outfits for her daughter’s big day. We loved her cream-colored dress that went perfectly with our flowery headband, and the BoHo outfit she used for tubby time. It has been a while since we have seen Kate and her beautiful family in our studio and we hope to see them again soon at one of our mini sessions. Are you ready to book your next session?
