Lavender Newborn Session
We welcomed Kristin and her beautiful family to our studio for a newborn session in early 2024. Had the pleasure of photographing her and her family for over five years. In fact, we photographed each milestone except for the maternity session for her baby boy due to the pandemic. You can view and read about their son’s, Noah, newborn session here. Actually, this will be Kristin and Bryan’s last newborn session because this is their third and final baby! We are honored to have captured major milestones in their life journey.
The Session
First, we began with the classic and sleepy baby portraits of their daughter. As you can see, Kristen chose light purple for her photos. Throughout the beginning she was very sleepy but was opening her eyes ever so often which is great because we captured her big eyes. Of course, Jackie expertly wrapped her in cream and light purple wraps and she was very comfortable. We made sure to take sibling photos of her and her big brother and sister. Her big sister Morgan was very happy to look after her little sister throughout the entire session, it was very cute!
Then, we transitioned to our light and bright set where we took classic family portraits of baby and her parents. Certainly, we took an all-girls photo of Kristin, Morgan, and the baby. Every time Morgan held her baby sister we were sure to be close by with our assistant to make sure the baby was safe in case of any sudden movements. Safety is our top priority in the studio. Although this is our last newborn session we hope to see Kristin and her beautiful family again in the future. Perhaps at our next mini-session event!
