Mauve In-Studio Newborn Session
We had the pleasure of shooting Beth’s maternity photo shoot in-studio here in south New Jersey. Beth was a co-worker of mine from when I was an MRI technologist at a local hospital. We love to have a full circle moment and were very excited to shoot Layla’s newborn session.
We had so much fun during the session, we got to talk about motherhood and share stories about each other’s children. Layla is one of seven siblings and dad’s first biological baby girl. It was so sweet to capture these precious moments for this beautiful couple, but the star of the show was Layla of course.
Beth really wanted to incorporate some mauve and fall colors into her in-studio newborn session. Layla did AMAZING during her session, she slept peacefully for almost the entirety of it. We wrapped Layla in our egg position to highlight her precious toes and feet.
We coordinated with the backdrop and her wrap to make her shots extra dreamy. The flowery headband is just the perfect touch to add her shine.
Layla looks so peaceful and dreamy in this monochromatic shot. The dainty headband was just the perfect touch.
Beth kept the theme together with the lace dress really aiding in making these photos light and airy. We loved shooting mom and dad together; you can tell they have such a loving relationship the way they were doting on each other. These backlit images are so beautiful, they are definitely a client favorite. We love it when we see our clients get these photos framed or as a canvas in their home. It really adds a nice touch to the home and brings joy to daily life.
I am so happy I got to work with Beth and her beautiful family. It was really an honor to shoot both her maternity and newborn sessions and I am so excited to continue to see Layla grow. Familiar faces and return clients are always appreciated, but we love meeting and working with new clients as well.
