We welcomed the Fagenson family into our Medford, NJ studio back in October 2021. We did a floral newborn photoshoot for their brand new baby girl! This family was so fun. Mom and dad were so laid back. Big brother was so adorable and hilarious with his antics! Baby girl was a legit angel, and slept the whole time which made for an easy session! Mom wanted the session to be more muted. Light, airy, with pops of pink. We definitely checked all those boxes for her with some gorgeous pops of florals as well.
This photo is one of my favorites! This is what we call a composite photo. We let big brother play around the bucket until he was comfortable enough to sit and smile. Then later on we put the baby in the bucket and got her nice and posed. We took the two photos and photoshopped them together. Toddlers are too wild to be able to get the picture perfect so it’s easiest this way 😉
Mom and baby were both so beautiful! Our amazing hair and makeup artist (Cassie) had mom looking and feeling so gorgeous. Keeping all the colors soft makes this photo so whimsical. Baby girl in the lace outfit and floral headband is just too precious!
I know that all newborns are little but this baby girl was so little. We had just had a 9-pound newborn the day prior, so she felt so small to us haha! We opted for the floral and greenery around this little basket, and she fit in there perfectly. Also, we added the fur underneath her just to add some more texture to the photo.
This actually isn’t a composite photo, and I’ll explain in a sec. It’s one of my favorites to do sibling shots on this rug. It gives it more of a candid feel with the added texture. In this photo, we bribed big brother to lay still (with snacks). Then, Olivia held onto the baby’s head underneath the rug so we could get them on there together safely! Seriously, how adorable are big brothers cheese and baby sister’s stretches?!
