Outdoor Maternity and Newborn Session
Nicole and her husband are one of our Baby Plan clients, which means that they have opted for three sessions with us. We cannot wait to photograph their daughter for her first birthday in a few months. Of course, we began with her maternity session and we decided on an outdoor session in Palmyra Cove Nature Park, located near the Delaware River. Then, when their little girl was born they came into the studio for an adorable newborn session with a subtle pop of pink.
Outdoor Maternity Session
Palmyra Cove Nature Park is a favorite location because we can get lots of greenery and foliage in images. Also, if you want more of a beach feel, we can accomplish that look as well because it is right by the river. As you can see, Nicole chose two maternity dresses for her session, one pink and one white. The color blue, which her husband wore, is such a versatile color and pairs nicely with the greenery provided on the trail. Certainly, we were sure to do those classic maternity couple poses and a few candid ones as well.
In-Studio Newborn Session
Just a few weeks later, Nicole and her husband came into the studio for a newborn session. Surely, we incorporated lots of pink and made sure to take some images of her in neutral colors. Actually, the quilt in the image below is a family heirloom, which we love to photograph! Family heirlooms like blankets that your grandmother knitted or a crochet outfit are amazing because these are the photos that grandparents love. We love to incorporate these important items and photograph them in a more modern way.
As a result, we captured priceless moments and memories for not just Nicole and her husband, but for her extended family as well. These memories are forever and we are so glad to be a part of it.
