Happy Camper First Birthday Session
We welcomed Lisa and her beautiful family back into the studio for their son’s milestone photoshoot in early 2024. Actually, this session will complete their Baby Plan package with us. You can see Lisa’s maternity and newborn sessions here. As you can see, Lisa opted for outdoor portraits, lifestyle photography to capture authenticity, and a camp-themed/forest cake smash.
The Session
First, we began with the outdoor photos right behind our Southampton studio. We love to use this area because it is lush with greenery and gives a beautiful contrast to portraits. Lifestyle photography is perfect for outdoor sessions and fast-moving toddlers. We love capturing their ever-changing smiles. Lisa chose a neutral theme for outfits, similar to her maternity and newborn color palette. We love incorporating elements to from past sessions to make their entire package cohesive.
Then, we went inside the studio to take the cake smash photos. Lisa chose a 1 happy camper theme for this set and we loved it so much. Of course, we chose a tree stump to place his cake on. Clearly, he had such a blast during this time. Finally, we concluded the session with our tubby time set which is a tiny bathtub filled with water or milk so the kiddos can splash around. To respect the family’s privacy we will not be showing those photos. Truly, this happy camper first birthday session was such a beautiful conclusion to Lisa and Travis’s Baby Plan. We cannot wait to see them again throughout the year to capture more memories.
