Fishing First Birthday Session
We have had the pleasure of photographing Danielle and her family for the third time! In fact, Danielle and her husband opted for our Baby Plan. The Baby Plan is maternity, newborn, and first birthday photo shoots for one session fee. This option is great because it saves you money on the session fee, secures your photo shoots in our books, and allows for portraits that are seamless throughout the pregnancy/motherhood journey.
Danielle and her husband enjoy being outdoors and doing fun activities such as camping. Naturally, they chose an outdoorsy theme for their son’s milestone session. This Gone Fishing theme is super cute and fun and we had such a good time. First, we started outdoors, right behind the studio there is a great spot with lush greenery that we like to use when the weather allows. Certainly, we took various family photos as well as solo portraits of each parent with the baby. The sage green color that Danielle chose for her photos was beautiful and is so popular right now. It compliments her maternity portraits perfectly, you can see her maternity and newborn sessions here.
Then, we went inside the studio to take traditional photos of their son. The cake smash set was so fun to set up and customize. We made sure to get all the fishing-themed props for his special day. Finally, we concluded this fishing first birthday session with a client favorite, tubby time. Surely, we fill this tiny bathtub with warm water or milk so they can be super comfortable and splash around. Indeed, the kids have so much fun and we are sure to capture those cute smiles. We are so happy to have been a part of Danielle’s journey and we can’t wait to see them again soon. Ready to start planning your next session?
