Neutral In-Studio Newborn Session

Jill and her adorable family came into the studio, located in Southampton, New Jersey, for their daughter’s newborn session. As you can see, there are a few family portraits in their collection because we love providing updated family photos! Nonetheless, Miss Vaeda was the star of the show. This blog features a few of our favorite baby poses, cute photography props, and adorable outfit changes.

First, Miss Vaeda was awake for most of her session, but we love happy and awake babies. Actually, she slept for a few minutes in the beginning, if you look closely you can see her waking up in one of the family portraits. Then, she was awake for the rest of her session. While Jill had her hair and makeup done, we worked with Vaeda on some individual images and props. Yellow was a request that we are loving for baby girls. Also, we love photographing babies’ eyes because they can change so much in such little time.

Finally, we concluded Vaeda’s neutral in-studio newborn session with a beautiful family portrait against a cream backdrop and the backlit images for a whimsical feel. Of course, we coordinated with Jill on the color palette so these portraits would match the decor in her home. We strive to make every session extra special and exceed expectations.
