Colorful Milestone Session

We have had the pleasure of photographing Sam and her beautiful family for over four. In fact, we first photographed her daughter, Lily, as a newborn. Sam’s newborn session happened to be right after the coronavirus lockdown so we were not able to photograph her maternity session. A few months later, they returned to the studio for Lily’s first birthday session Then, it was time for her second birthday photoshoot. We are so happy that we were able to finally do a maternity session with Sam when she was pregnant with her son! Of course, we did her son’s newborn session, and now, Lily’s third birthday.

The Session

In the summer of 2023, Sam and her family arrived at our studio for a fun photo shoot to celebrate her daughter’s third birthday. Clearly, Lily was ready for her big day and had a huge smile on her face. Sam brought beautiful dresses for her big day and did three outfit changes! For this colorful milestone session, we made a custom balloon garland and set which mostly included purple because that’s her favorite color. Lily had such a fun time in the studio.

We concluded her session in our white set with cute sibling photos. The white canvas on easels on the floor it was such a fun and interactive idea for her birthday photo shoot. Certainly, we are very happy to have documented Sam’s pregnancy journey for both of her kids and provided beautiful photographs her family will look back on for years to come.
