Cake Smash Photoshoot-Southampton, NJ

We welcomed the Eckhardt family into our studio in Southampton, NJ back in December right before Christmas for some family photos, their daughter’s one-year milestone, and a cake smash photo shoot. We started with some nice outdoor shots of them as a family before heading inside. I love how mom and dad are in black, and the girls are in cream. It’s the perfect mix of the two colors, and the girls look like little angels.

We went into the studio to capture the girls on the bed. Michele (mom) liked the light feeling with the pops of greenery in the background. Look at how adorable these sweet sisters are! Their smiles are so precious!

Before we moved on to the cake smash, I wanted to get a shot of Harlow alone on the bed. She was actually teething during this session with FOUR teeth coming through, but with a little peek-a-boo she was happy as can be 🙂

Next, we moved into the cake smash portion. Michelle requested a winter theme that wasn’t Christmas-y. So we included the snowflakes and white cloud/snow theme and Harlow wore an adorable white tutu.

I just HAD to share this shot of baby Harlow look at her eating her cake with her cute chubby fingers!! Her baby blue eyes just pop with all this white too! I can’t deal with how adorable she is. She thoroughly enjoyed her cake made by our baker Golden Sun Artistry.
