First Post on the New Blog/Website + NJ Lifestyle Photographer + Military Spouse

Hello Everyone! And Thank You for visiting my first blog and my new website! I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about myself. I am a 26 year old wife of a US Army Specialist named Aaron. He is my best friend, hero, and biggest cheerleader. He is very supportive of my decision to start my own business. We have two dogs named Callie and Penny. They are like our children right now, since we do not have children yet. While he is away, I foster dogs through Bella-Reed Pit Bull Rescue.

Being a military spouse has been very easy so far. Aaron is in the NJ National Guard. He would have to go to his monthly drills and one 2 week trip a year. It was hard then, but this upcoming year is going to be very hard. Aaron will be deploying for at least 365 days. It’s crazy! There have been a countless number of times when he would say he would be deploying or rumors of deploying. This time is real. This time my best friend will be gone for a year. It hasn’t felt real until this last week.

Back in June, I had asked the amazing Laura Reynolds of Lurey Photography to do photos of us. Since her and her husband specialize in engagements and weddings, this would be like an engagement session. I wanted to share these photos with you to show you about me and my life. My husband is my everything and these photos I will cherish for a lifetime!
