Airy Maternity and Newborn Session

Stacey came into our studio, located in Southampton, New Jersey, earlier this Spring for her maternity and newborn sessions. Certainly, she wanted to include her husband and her adorable son in both sessions. During her design consultation, she mentioned she wanted a light and airy feel with a pop of pink to celebrate their little girl, Olivia.

The Maternity Session

First, we did her maternity session in February, and we utilized our three sets. Of course, we had to take mommy-and-son pictures of Stacey and her son in our casual bed set. As you can see, we took away the mattress to take our light and bright photos of Stacey in our popular white dress. We made sure to take several couple maternity portraits. Then, we moved to our classic cream backdrop to take family portraits that the whole family will love!

The Newborn Session

A few weeks later, Stacey and her family returned for their daughter’s newborn session. Because safety is a top priority, we decided to do all composites for the sibling photos. Little man was having so much fun, and we wanted to make sure that baby was super safe. For example, we took a photo of the big brother holding the empty bucket. Then, our amazing editor used Photoshop to edit the baby into the bucket. We used the same technique for the photo of both of them laying down on the cream blanket.
