This week, we were absolutely overjoyed to welcome back the beautiful Arcillas family to celebrate the arrival of their newest addition. Having documented several milestones in their parenthood journey, seeing their family grow and evolve is a privilege that truly touches our hearts.

Our landscape transforms into a kaleidoscopic display of fiery maples, rustic oaks, and deep, golden birches. It is easily our most requested backdrop, but as any seasoned parent knows, the crisp October air can be a bit too brisk for a brand-new baby.

To ensure this little one stayed cozy, warm, and perfectly “milk-drunk,” we decided to bring the autumn harvest indoors. By utilizing artisan-curated props—rich, silk-veined leaves, deep crimson accents, and earthy textures—we created a lush, seasonal atmosphere within the comfort of our temperature-controlled studio. This allowed us to capture that iconic “fall baby” aesthetic while keeping the environment serene and safe for a delicate newborn. The result was a gallery filled with the warmth of the season and the softness of a new life.

We cannot emphasize enough that booking your fall photoshoot ahead of time is absolutely vital. To ensure you secure a date during the height of the season, we often recommend reaching out as early as the summer months. Because the vibrant colors of South Jersey only last for a few short weeks, those weekend slots become the most coveted real estate in our schedule. Capturing the Heartbeat: Family and Sibling Portraits

While those solo, curled-up newborn poses are timeless, we believe that full family portraits are the true heartbeat of a session. Time is a notorious thief, and the newborn stage is perhaps the most fleeting of all. In just a matter of weeks, those tiny features—the translucent eyelashes, the miniature fingernails, and the way they instinctively curl their toes—will change forever.

Whenever we have the chance to capture the entire family unit, we seize it. Documenting the Arcillas family as a new “tribe of five” was a beautiful experience. We also made sibling portraits a top priority. Seeing the three Arcillas babies together was pure joy; the older siblings were so tender, sweet, and protective of their new brother. They brought a vibrant, loving energy into the studio that made every frame feel alive. These are the images that will hang on their walls for decades, serving as a permanent reminder of the moment their lives expanded once more.
