We welcomed Alexis and her husband into our studio in July 2025 to photograph their baby girl. Alexis chose a neutral, dreamy newborn photo session to capture the ever-changing, special features that her baby girl developed during her first few weeks. Newborn sessions are particularly special to us, marking an important time to capture because newborns’ features change daily. We feel honored that Alexis and her husband chose us to capture such a significant milestone in their lives.

We began the session with solo portraits of their daughter. She was fast asleep and remained calm as we swaddled her and transitioned between different sets. We always ensure the use of various props, headbands, and swaddles available for our clients. Our photographer, Jackie, excels at soothing, changing, and feeding the babies, ensuring they are comfortable and can transition back to sleep or move to different sets seamlessly.

For the most part, we focused on their baby girl’s sets and outfits, adding a variety of textures and neutral colors to complement her features. When parents are willing, we always include “Mommy and Me” and “Daddy and Me” photos, capturing the unique bond between the baby and each parent with beautiful portraits.

Alexis chose to wear one of our maternity gowns available for clients during sessions. With her elegant updo and makeup, she looked radiant. We encourage clients to bring special items to include in their session, and Alexis and her husband brought his firefighter uniform, a beautiful and personal addition that added a unique touch to the photographs.
