In mid-April 2025, we had the pleasure of welcoming The Outwater Family, and the experience was nothing short of magical.

Allison, the radiant mother, envisioned a serene and dreamy atmosphere for her son’s session, opting for a delightful color palette of mint green and beige. Her wish was to encapsulate the fleeting moments of her newborn’s early days, preserving the precious memories of this unique chapter in their lives. We wholeheartedly embraced her vision, weaving together a theme that exuded comfort, coziness, and an airy lightness.

Beyond the classic newborn portraits, we made sure to capture the beautiful bond between the baby boys with heartwarming sibling photos, as well as cherished full family portraits. These are the moments that families treasure forever, and we feel honored to be a part of creating these timeless keepsakes.

As the Outwater Family stepped into our studio, their little one was already in a peaceful slumber, seemingly ready for his big debut. Luckily, Jackie, the baby whisperer and photography expert, was on hand to work her magic. With her gentle touch and years of experience, she effortlessly switched out the wraps, ensuring the baby remained snug and content.

For the solo portraits of their precious son, Allison had her heart set on our adorable heart-shaped prop. And who could blame her? This prop is an absolute favorite among our clients, adding an extra touch of sweetness to newborn photos. To ensure the utmost safety and comfort, we line the inside of the prop with thick, cushy blankets. Plus, we always have our trusty assistant nearby, keeping a watchful eye and lending a helping hand.

After the heart-shaped portraits, we transitioned to our bright and airy set, where we brought out our large bean bag and draped it with a textured blanket. This cozy setup was perfect for capturing the heartwarming sibling portraits. As you can imagine, their baby boy was still sound asleep, while his older brother showered him with gentle smooches. The big brother’s tender care and infectious smile brought so much joy to the session. It was evident that he was already embracing his role as a loving and protective older sibling.

We wrapped up the session in our pristine white set, where Allison’s elegant mint green dress created a stunning contrast against the neutral backdrop. The combination of colors and textures resulted in a visually captivating scene.

One of our top priorities is to capture the unique features of each newborn, so we always make an effort to take portraits when the baby’s eyes are open. These fleeting moments of connection are truly priceless, and we want to ensure that families can cherish them for years to come.
