We welcomed Andrea and her family into the studio in mid-March 2025 for their youngest son Levi’s first birthday session. We began the session with Levi and his older brother against a dark backdrop to contrast their adorable white and red baseball outfits. Their matching Phillies outfits were simply precious, and we love capturing sibling portraits with matching outfits! This was the perfect start to a fun-filled session in the studio.

The session was incredibly fun and special. We did a custom confetti cake smash set with cute props and a delightful confetti cake to match. The underlying color palette was light blue, which provided a soft and charming backdrop. Andrea even brought a personalized hat for Levi, which we always encourage to make portraits that much more special. In addition to the personalized crown her son wore, she also brought a knitted sweater with the word “one” on it. It was so cute!

Although first birthday sessions are predominantly for the kiddos, we always encourage parents to participate. In this case, they decided for Levi’s big brother to join in, so we made sure to capture tons of sibling portraits and special moments. As you can see, Levi’s big brother helped him eat his first birthday cake and even wore matching pajamas. We loved the blue and white outfits with confetti to match the custom backdrop.

Certainly, Levi was so happy with us that he even tried grabbing some of the balloons from the balloon garland attached to the wall. Of course, we gave the kiddos ample time to get comfortable in the studio so we could capture genuine and authentic moments. The joy and excitement in Levi’s eyes were evident, making the entire session a memorable experience for everyone involved. The combination of personalized touches and spontaneous moments truly made this first birthday session one to remember.
