We welcomed Ally and her husband into the studio to celebrate their daughter’s arrival with a newborn session in late February 2025. For their special day, they chose light pink colors that perfectly contrasted with mauve and a custom set in our studio. The combination created a warm and inviting atmosphere that beautifully highlighted the joy of their new addition.
We always begin our newborn sessions with solo portraits. As you can see, their baby girl was happy and awake when they first arrived. We took advantage of that and captured her beautiful eyes and perfect smile. It’s always a joy to capture babies when they are awake in the studio because their features change so quickly in a matter of days. Jackie is an expert at swaddling newborns, making it easy to keep their baby girl comfortable and change her wraps for different sets. The swaddling not only keeps the baby snug but also helps in creating a variety of looks without causing any discomfort.
We used items from our baby boutique, available to clients during newborn sessions, including various flowery headbands and ultrasoft baby wraps. In addition to our boutique, we have plenty of props for our newborn sessions. The heart-shaped prop is one of our favorites! We also have tiny baby cribs, textured blankets, and small animal props to fit the needs of our clients. These props add a unique touch to each session, making every photo distinct and memorable.
Although newborn sessions highlight the babies, we absolutely encourage parents to be in a few portraits. Potential clients often worry about not knowing how to pose, but there’s no need to worry at our studio! Jackie is fantastic at posing families and couples during all sessions. She provides gentle guidance, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and looks their best. This results in natural, candid moments that truly capture the essence of the family’s bond.
We took the family portraits in our white room against our light and airy backdrop. This backdrop is perfect for simple portraits and can complement any color palette. Portraits done against this backdrop are perfect to display in any room in your home. Of course, you can order wall art with us as well, and we have plenty of options available. From canvas prints to framed photos, we offer a range of products to suit different tastes and home decor. Each piece is crafted with care, ensuring that your memories are preserved in the most beautiful way possible.
In addition to the solo and family portraits, we also captured some tender moments between Ally and her husband with their baby girl. These intimate shots are often the most cherished as they reflect the deep love and connection within the family. The soft lighting and serene environment of our studio help create a calm and peaceful setting, perfect for capturing these precious moments.
