We are thrilled to share that Kristen and her family returned to our studio in early January 2025 to celebrate their daughter, McKenzie, first birthday session. It feels like just yesterday we had them in the studio for her newborn session! We have had the honor of documenting their beautiful parenthood journey for 5+ years. Time truly does fly, and we couldn’t be more excited to continue being a part of their lives.

7For Kristen’s last newborn session, she chose a lovely theme of purple with hints of gold for her daughter’s cake smash. The colors were a perfect choice, creating a magical and whimsical atmosphere. You can take a look at McKenzie’s newborn session here, where we used lavender and neutral tones to highlight the special day. The session was filled with tender moments, and of course, we made sure to capture plenty of sibling photos featuring McKenzie and her two older siblings Morgan and Noah.

Lifestyle photography is ideal for families with toddlers because it allows us to capture their natural energy and joy. Toddlers are always on the move, bringing a sense of spontaneity and laughter to the session. The love between McKenzie and her siblings was palpable, and they had a fantastic time helping their youngest sister enjoy her first birthday cake. It was heartwarming to see the bond they share and the fun they had together.
