Nicole and her husband recently celebrated a beautiful milestone with a newborn session for their daughter in our custom studio in the summer of 2024. The couple also brought along their young son, who added a heartwarming touch to the session. His gentle kisses on his little sister’s forehead were precious moments that we were thrilled to capture.

Nicole and her husband chose purple as the color palette for the session, a choice that was both elegant and fitting for their daughter. Our on-set designer meticulously selected various shades of purple to complement the baby girl, creating a cohesive and stunning visual theme. The session began with individual portraits of their baby girl while Nicole was getting her hair and makeup done just a few feet away. This allowed for a seamless transition between preparations and the photoshoot, ensuring that every moment was utilized effectively.

Their baby girl was in and out of sleep at the beginning, which is quite common for newborn sessions. However, with Jackie’s expertise in soothing babies, we were able to capture some serene and peaceful shots. Jackie’s gentle touch and calming presence worked wonders, allowing us to get those perfect sleepy newborn portraits that parents cherish.

Once we had a good variety of individual shots, we transitioned to our white room. This space is designed to be versatile and accommodating for both posed and candid family photos. The white room’s neutral backdrop allowed the family’s love and connection to be the focal point of the images. We captured a mix of posed portraits and spontaneous moments, highlighting their sweet smiles and the genuine affection they share. The young son’s interactions with his baby sister were particularly touching, adding an extra layer of emotion to the photos.
The session concluded with close-up photos of the family against our light and bright set. These close-ups are always a favorite, as they capture the intricate details and expressions that tell a story of their own. The light and bright set provided a soft and airy feel, perfectly complementing the tender moments between the family members.
Throughout the session, the combination of the purple palette, the white room, and the light and bright set created a visually appealing and cohesive collection of photographs. Each element was thoughtfully chosen to enhance the beauty of the family and their new addition. The result was a series of images that are not only beautiful but also deeply meaningful to Nicole and her husband.
