Urika is back for baby number two, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to capture this special time for her and her growing family. As a returning client, Urika decided to embark on a baby plan, which is a comprehensive photography package that documents the beautiful journey from maternity through the baby’s first year. This time around, she wanted to mix things up a bit and incorporate more blues and vibrant colors into her session, concluding with a stunning milk bath shoot in a delicate white lace outfit.

Maternity portraits are a wonderful way to celebrate the beauty and anticipation of pregnancy. They capture the excitement and love that parents feel as they await the arrival of their new little one. Urika’s session was no exception. Urika looked absolutely stunning in three different dresses from our boutique during her session. One of the highlights of Urika’s session was the incorporation of lifestyle photography. This approach is perfect for maternity portraits as it captures genuine moments and emotions, creating a more personal and intimate feel. We photographed Urika in various settings, from cozy indoor scenes that showcased her beautiful nursery to candid moments with her partner, highlighting the joy and connection they share.

As we moved through the session, we transitioned to the milk bath shoot, which has become increasingly popular for maternity portraits. The milk bath provides a serene and ethereal setting, emphasizing the natural beauty of the expecting mother. Urika’s choice of a white lace outfit added a touch of elegance and femininity, creating a stunning contrast against the milky water. The soft, diffused lighting in the milk bath created a dreamy atmosphere, perfect for highlighting the gentle curves of her pregnancy.

The versatility of maternity photography allows for a wide range of creative possibilities. From traditional poses that showcase the baby bump to more artistic and abstract compositions, each session can be tailored to reflect the unique style and personality of the mother-to-be.
