Communion Mini Session – South Jersey Maternity Photographer

Every Spring we are excited to hold a special mini-session event for our clients’ children to celebrate their first holy communion. Commemorate this special time with a mini session at our studio and choose from our two backdrops available for this event. We have a cherry blossom backdrop, or for a more simple look, our white set. Be sure to follow us on all socials to keep up with our mini-session events. What is a Holy Communion?

Holy Communion, also known as the Eucharist, is one of the seven sacraments in the Catholic Church. It is a ritual that commemorates the Last Supper of Jesus Christ with his disciples. During this meal, Jesus broke bread and shared wine, instructing his disciples to do this in remembrance of him. This event is documented in the New Testament of the Bible, and it forms the basis for the practice of Holy Communion in Christian tradition.

The term “communion” itself signifies the act of sharing or holding something in common. In the context of Holy Communion, it represents the sharing of the body and blood of Christ among the congregation.
