Sweet 1 First Birthday Session – Burlington Twp First Birthday Photographer
We welcomed Ariana and her family to our studio for their daughter’s first birthday in the early summer of 2024. As you know, we are a custom studio, catering to the wants of our clients for every session. For this session, Ariana wanted to take Disney-themed portraits and outdoor photos of the family. Of course, a first birthday photo shoot wouldn’t be complete without a custom smash cake set. The cake smash set was a colorful sprinkle cake theme!
The Session
First, we began with the family portraits, taken right outside the studio. This location is so convenient because we do not have to go far to take beautiful photos with lush foliage. As you can see, their pictures are beautiful, and the greenery is just right. Their baby girl was all smiles on her special day and was enjoying having some fun in the sun with her mommy and daddy. Fortunately, the weather was perfect outside! We always take advantage when it is nice out and take photos outside if clients are interested. Capturing milestone moments through photography is essential as it freezes precious memories in time. It allows u to cherish and relive those special occasions.
Lifestyle photography is perfect for families with toddlers because we can capture their genuine smiles as they move and run about the grounds. Certainly, we do our best to capture the kid’s attention when we take posed photos as well. Actually, our in-studio assistant is great at getting the attention of the kiddos with a toy or even a funny noise. Also, Jackie knows all of the tricks to get the kiddos smiling and looking her way to capture their joy. It is truly wonderful to see her work her magic! Milestone photography serves as a tangible reminder of significant events, marking our journey beautifully.
Then, we took a short walk back to the studio where we took portraits of their baby girl in our white set. This set is so versatile, so we took the inflatable flowers and set them up in the background to match the theme of her dress. The dress that Ariana chose for her daughter’s pictures is so cute and subtle. You can’t go wrong with a white and yellow!
As you can see, their daughter was not able to stand on her own. However, we have a sturdy photography prop so she could hold herself up for a couple of cute portraits. Also, child safety is our top priority and our assistant is always nearby in case the kids make any sudden movements or need any help.
We concluded the session with a Sweet One smash cake set. Of course, we did an outfit change for her custom theme. Ariana did amazing with her outfits! We love that her pink overalls match the sprinkles on her sweet 1 first birthday session theme. Clearly, their baby girl loved her vanilla cake with vanilla frosting and sprinkles. We like to prepare the set before families arrive in the studio and Teresa did a great job setting this set up. Truly, this session was just the cutest and funniest time. It is always a pleasure capturing such important milestones for our clients. Certainly, we hope to continue doing so in the future at our many mini-session events!
