Word Party First Birthday Session

Nessa and her family came into the studio for their daughter’s first birthday session in the Fall of 2022. Actually, they opted for our Baby Plan so this session is the last in their package. For this session, we included our classic tubby time set, a very cute Word Party-themed cake smash, and classic portraits of their adorable baby girl.

The Session

Of course, we had the privilege of capturing Nessa for her maternity and newborn sessions! Truly, we were happy to have them back for their daughter’s first birthday session. We love seeing all of our client’s families grow and capture their first major milestones. In fact, we try to make every session as special as we can by incorporating personalized themes or items. As you can see, Nessa decided to incorporate her daughter’s current favorite kids’ educational program. Word Party is a show on Netflix for kids where they learn words from four baby animals. The four animals consist of a wallaby, a panda, a cheetah, and an elephant.

For the cake smash, we adorned the backdrop with a large rainbow arch with cutouts of the character’s faces. Finally, we ended the session with a fun splash tubby time. Certainly, the kiddos love this set because they can splash around and we can capture those cute smiles! Indeed, we are so happy to have been a part of their Word Party first birthday session!
