Neutral In-Studion Newborn Session

Neutral In-Studio Newborn Session

Mary and her cute family came in last year when their baby girl was almost eight weeks old! Clearly, she was happy and awake for the majority of her session. Of course, we made sure to get pictures of the baby and her big sister, and some cute family portraits as well.

First, we captured as much awake images as we could. We usually do not get a lot of awake babies during newborn sessions because they are just so sleepy. If they are awake in the beginning, we try to take full advantage and do our best to get their eyes to focus on the camera. When we can achieve this, it is always extra special!

Certainly, happy and awake babies make fun sessions. We do our best to grab their attention so they can look at the camera. Actually, we do this for all the kiddos that come to the studio, but it doesn’t always work. As you can see, big sister was not a huge fan of the camera. However, we were able to composite an image so they could have a sibling portrait together.

All in all, we were able to take images of this beautiful family that will last lifetimes. Not only that, but any image taken during this neutral in-studio newborn session would be perfect to be displayed in any room in their home.
