Summer Outdoor Family Session

The Gross family came in for updated family portraits and we decided on both in-studio and outdoor portraits. In fact, this session had to be completed in two days because it was raining. On the first day, we did our classic in-studio backlit images with a simple cream backdrop. Then, the next weekend we went over to Smithville Mansion in Mount Holly, New Jersey to capture those summer colors and beautiful greenery. Certainly, we were able to capture beautiful family portraits of this handsome family.

Actually, their adorable baby boy was nearing his first birthday so we made sure to get some summer fun feel photos for his big day! Jessica wore this beautiful copper-colored dress for the in-studio shot, and a beautiful mint-colored dress that looks great in front of all the greenery.

Jessica and her husband chose the cutest outfits for their two-day session. But, the cutest of them all is their baby boy’s outfits! We loved the texture and color of the pastel yellow sweater. The sleeveless beige jumpsuit was perfect for the outdoors and matched Jessica’s dress perfectly. Also, the white and blue set photographed beautifully and worked so great in the black-and-white images. So adorable!

Certainly, we were able to conclude this summer outdoor family session successfully and with these beautiful images to show for it. Obviously, this stunning family was exuding love and it is evident in their new family portraits.
