Simple Milestone Session
We welcomed the Raucci family into our studio in Southampton, NJ back in August 2021 for their son RJ’s first birthday simple milestone session. We did their newborn session for little RJ as well! They wanted simple family portraits and of course fun photos of him :). We started out outside for some different scenery since the rest of the session was inside. Look at this little ham hahaha so cute!
We always get some detail photos during milestone sessions. I feel like it’s so important just so that parents can look back and see what little hands, feet, and chubby cheeks looked like. Also, to see the changes just in one year’s time is just so amazing! You can’t tell me these little piggies aren’t the CUTEST!
When we went in studio we did some cute photos in the highchair in front of the sheers. I love this bright and white look! Can you peep those little teeth in RJ’s mouth?? How cute is he!
Then it was CAKE TIME! We did their newborn session a year prior, so Christina (mom) wanted just some simple greenery just like we did for their newborn session. That way when she hung these photos up with his newborn photos they would mesh perfectly. He loved the cake, and was so funny chowing down on it!
This is my favorite photo from tub time after the cake smash portion! He was so happy! Playing and screeching in the tub just having the time of his life. He was such a fun baby to photograph. Just look at the pure joy on his face hahaha!
We just loved doing the Raucci family’s photos again! I know I’ve said this a million times before, but nothing makes me happier than clients returning and getting to watch them grow. Capturing families in all different seasons of life is the absolute best, and I love getting to give them these memories forever! Are you about to have a birthday coming up?
