Courtney and Shawn wanted a laid back back yard wedding that would also be fun and family oriented. I never thought a back yard wedding would be so amazing! They both have 5 children and it was nice to see the kids playing on the swings and sand with their cousins.

In the beginning of the day, Courtney was a little nervous as the ceremony got closer. Any bride would be! But, she had a great team of bridesmaids who made her feel better and had a lot of fun!

Before the ceremony started, I told Shawn to make sure to hold their first kiss for at least 10 seconds. This gives family and friends to get a photo and gives myself a few seconds to get different angles. Well he sure did hold it long enough. He even showed up how happy he was to be married. You’ll see that photo below.

You could just tell everyone was having so much fun during the reception. Someone was on the floor all night. Even Grandmom had her dancing shoes on!

Even though most men do not like to take photos, Shawn was such a trooper. We got some AMAZING portraits of them when the sun went down and it created such an awesome photo. You would never guess that it was in their own backyard.
